Fabulous Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS a world class destination resort suitable for all the family. In the 1990s Las Vegas became the fastest growing and most prosperous city in America. It's population doubled in less than ten years. Why? Well,320 days of sunshine, five hundred churches,11 city libraries, nine acute care hospitals, twenty seven golf courses,no state income tax,no inheritance tax and casinos.
Las Vegas Hotels
The famous resort hotel-casinos standing proudly along Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) offer all the amenities a visitor could wish for. Gaming, restaurants, entertainment, nightlife and recreation are standard features. The properties offer big celebrity shows/productions, a variety of restaurants, spa and health club services and elegant retail shops. Gaming hotels always maintain clean, modern guest rooms.
Advance reservations are always recommended. Room rates fluctuate and are usually higher on weekends, during holiday seasons and heavy convention periods.

I have stayed at the following hotels
Looking down over the Strip from the top end, the Stratosphere's tower is a Vegas icon. On the 106th floor is the revolving Top of the World restaurant. Thrill rides include the Big Shot reverse bungee (launching upward from the top floor!) and the world's tallest roller coaster Amazing impersonations of Ricky Martin, Michael Jackson and co. make the American Superstars show a popular ticket. Six restaurants provide cuisine of many nationalities and naturally there's a gigantic buffet among them! The new pool and recreation deck is lovely, and the casino has the best odds in town for craps.
The Stratosphere, this hotel is quite a walk away from the center of the strip,(although the trolley bus goes up and down the strip very frequently throughout the day, only a couple of $) close to wet n wild and the big shopping mall, the Stratosphere has excellent facilities,my room had a separate bedroom with a huge bed,and a tv in the lounge and bedroom.Excellent room amenities and very good, friendly and polite staff.Very affordable room rates aswell.Recommended if you don't mind being away from the center of the strip.
The Sahara, located just across the road from the Stratosphere and wet n wild. The Sahara has excellent rooms that have been recently renovated, and although the rooms were not as accommadating as the Stratosphere four of us managed ok.The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner have got to be the cheapest that I have ever found in all my visits to Vegas and were superb to boot aswell. The pool and surrounding area are a great place to relax.Room rates were better than the Stratosphere, which mean's that this is another very affordable hotel on the strip.Theres a roller coaster that takes you through a 72ft loop at 70mph (it deserves to be called 'Speed'). there's virtual reality Indy Car racing too, and in the Sahara Theatre the alternative reality of Steve Wyrick's amazing magic show is wowing the crowds - he actually makes a twin-engined jet disappear! The original Ocean's eleven movie starred the Rat Pack of Frank Sinatra and co, and there's a great rat Pack tribute show in the Congo Room.
And finally Caesars Palace, what can I say! This for me is what Las Vegas is all about.World renowned and worth every accolade they receive in my book.Even the most decadent Roman Emperor might be embarrassed by the riches of this marvellous hotel. A 'Garden of the Gods' swimming complex with statues and fountains, a wonderful selection of dining from around the world, the best shopping on The Strip, a fabulous neo-classical spa with Hawaiian, Javanese and Balinese therapies and some great entertainment. Accept the Race to Atlantis and have the ride of your life. Watch the Gods come alive every hour at Atlantis. And if you have any energy left, dance the night away on Cleopatra's Barge, a floating night-club.Excellent accommodation, superb facilities and bang in the center of the strip. The rooms are top notch, with most offering great views, they offer excellent dining and free entertainment, fantastic pool area and a customer service that is exceptional. Can be expensive but they do offer deals throughout the year that are well worth waiting for.Join the players club and you could get some great "comps" that have rewarded players with free meals, drinks and accommodation.
